The old adage of "larger is better" is definitely true when it comes to attracting investors in today's capital markets. Many of the boutique broker dealers have disappeared leaving a massive hole of funding needs for small companies needing from $100K to $5M.
The Broadband Innovation Fund is designed to aggregate the interest of at least $25M from these small operator requests. This is accomplished by the unique capabilities inherent with ICM LLC's parent "public" company Competitive Companies, Inc. to issue publicly traded and convertible securities to the public marketplace. This enables us to secure funding for our WISP Participants for as little as $100K and up to $10M.
We raise these funds utilizing the interest of institutional investors that desire investing in a managed account like the Broadband Innovation Fund. We are able to structure our investment securities to fit the needs of a whole class of sophisticated and accredited investors.
