There are more than 100,000 small communities with less than 500 homes per community in Rural America. These small communities represent more than 40,000,000 Americans with limited to no access to Broadband services. This deficiency places the United States below the top ten among civilized communities in World rankings related to communication technology and services.

Even with the Government implementing numerous financial plans to connect the digital divide, American enterprise still falls well short of providing the desired Broadband services within its rural communities. To date, more than 5,000 small Wireless Internet Service Providers have managed to connect Broadband in an estimated 750,000 to 1,500,000 residents in these small remote rural communities.

Innovation Capital Management was designed to play a significant part in this connection by the issuance of the “Broadband Innovation Fund LLP”. The Fund is structured as a Limited Liability Partnership participating in the income and increasing value of a “pool” of growing Broadband subscribers generated by the small WISP in an effort to fill the gap not currently being served by the incumbent providers within these small rural communities.

The Fund also host aggressive tax benefits afforded by the Partnership in its undivided interest of depreciating equipment utilized for the development of the wireless network. The investment philosophy is that a large pool of subscribers will produce a significantly higher value than that of a small pool of the same subscribers.
